Hear hear, in no way should he be criticised.

What I said was not a criticism, it was an observation.

A worthy champion, but a shame he didn't have some serious competition. The other Merc drivers were mostly rookies and Di Grassi should have made it much tougher for him.

nah, di grassi didn't have the asm edge on the setup and all that nonsense. when manor did have the edge (from some crafty testing), they did do well.
absolutely well done to lewis, brilliant job. one minor moan about the weekend - is it a regular set of officials and scrutineers? because some of the decisions were anal in the least. did anyone else think van der garde jumped the start in race 2? |

i'm suggesting it was a massive oversight if it was a jump start. i couldn't see the lights properly on the screen to tell, but it's extremely unlikely that lucas di grassi jumped the start any more than van der garde did. in my opinion.

Here is the link to see a replay of the start. http://cpz.dtm.garnierstreamingmedia...t=25&video=392
Van der garde was clearly OK, but I'm not sure about di Grassi. Difficult to tell rom what I see on the screen. That's why these officials are appointed. And that's why we discuss it. |
