a car to drive around snetterton in
If you could choose 1 car from the early days of super touring (i.e. 1991-1993) and you could do unlimited laps at Snetteton for 1 day in it, what would it be?
I would have the BMW M3 from 1991. I think that car drove the track the way it was supposed to be driven in its day. Besides, it sounded cool there. |

I have only followed TC since 97 so couldn't answer, except that if I had to choose between an M3 and a Cossy, the M3 would win!

Now thats a good question, let me ponder for a minute. Don't know is the honest answer but it was the time when Andy Rouse was preparing the works cars. Great times, I used to listen to the pop off valves as the cars screamed through the gearboxes, non of your sequencial boxes in those days!

If I were to choose a Sierra it would have to be the worlds fastest sierra touring car, the Dick Johnson Racing machine from good old Oz.

I like the sounds of the H-pattern gearboxes too, they make the racing much more satisfying to watch!

What year's Mondeo?? If it was 1994 or 1995 no way would I want to drive it because look at Radisich on all of the in-car footage, (all respect to Paul and the fantastic results he managed) he is struggling just to steer the car! Still, I applaud you for choosing something else.

At the end of the day we each have our favourites, that's what makes life so interesting!
Of the modern BTCC cars I have to vote for Matt Neals Nissan Primera, class! |

Come on now, if your going to go for the Volvo, it has to be the 850 Estate. Everyone laughed at it including Volvo when Tim Harvey did the drivers parade at Brands with the stuffed Labrador in the back, but boy, didn't it prove them all wrong!

Tim Harvey never raced the 850 Estate did he? Or was he just in one in his Volvo days in 1995, for the parade lap?
that estate was like a shed, literally! |
