DTM - Final Race Day 2005!!! (Will Paffet Do It?)

Will Paffet make histroy tomorrow and become the first Brit to win the DTM? Obviously, his work has been made alot easier, with Ekstrom's terrible grid slot, but, this is motorsport!! Have to say, Greens done a fantastic job in his debut year, several pole's and not sure on podium finishes, but I'd be very surprised if he's not in DTM next year.

Personally im pretty sure Paffet will do it tommorow, no hes not on pole but 6th place is surely good enough. Especially when you consider Ekstrom is down in 15th place! And needs to win and Paffet to score no points. But then this is motorsport and anything can happen, so Ekstrom could in theory still take the title but its highly unlikely. IMO.

Well, I think Paffett will take it quite easily tomorrow. If Ekström would win he needs some insane luck.

I will be holding my thumbs for the swede though

Paffett will win it, there has to happen a miracle, if he wants to lose it.

There will be some serious team play tomorrow

I think Paffett will work his way up easily and Ekstrom will too, hopefully the final 3 will be

Paffett
Ekstrom
Green

I think the mercedes guys will protect GP's position and allow a clear run for the title.. ME has too much to do and try and get passed all the mercs.

Could make for some exciting racing or.. a real bore...

If Ekstrom comes out of this race as the champion, then that's also good, as it must have been an incredible race.

Staying with the likely world though, Ekstrom has to pass 14 cars, and even then Paffett has to drop out of the top 8 or retire - Paffett's been able to score points in races where he gets two drive throughs, so calling Mattias' chances as slim is an over-statement.

Paffett will win hoepfully, although I am looking forward to see how Green and Spengler do against the masters at the track such as Schneider.
