enemy-ace should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
PT will be back!

Very good news.
He says he would like to do some racing before the season kicks off and I imagine Daytona 24hrs is a given. Maybe he might consider a race in a Prototype in the ALMS, Sebring maybe. That would be cool! On a purely selfish note, I would love to see him at Mosport for the ALMS race next year.

Keep in mind that the biggest reason he'll be back in Champ Car in 2006 is because things didn't work out for 2006 with RCR. I don't think for a second that he has given up on eventually making the move. Sponsorship was most likely the biggest issue getting in the way this time.

Perhaps he'll try to qualify for the Daytona 500 tho - that would be cool.

PT must also be motivated by the thoughts of what could have been this season. Between the problems at Surfers (mech) and Toronto (fuel), and his own mistakes in Edmonton and Denver, not to mention getting punted by Bourdais several times, PT lost enough points to easily hand him the title.

At least part of him must want to take Bourdais comments from last week and shove them down his throat next season. Whatever happens it will be worth the price of admission.
