There is a Michael Schuamcher kart game (2002) which isn't that bad but does seem slugish. That is avalibe on both PS2 and PC I think.
There is a good Super 1 game I downloaded a while back that was those circuits used here, and was probably worth the money although the handling is poor. I also believe they are making a new karting game... |

Only the two mentioned above for the PC AFAIK. Think there's at least 2 for the PS2, but they're fairly rubbish. S1K is probably the best of those currently available, but unfortunately most of the tracks on it are way out.
There are 4 in progress for the PC: Kart Masters: http://s-egames.com/ 'TBA': http://kartsportnews.com/091705-1.html F1C: http://forum.rscnet.org/forumdisplay.php?f=560 rFactor: http://forum.rscnet.org/showthread.php?t=222661 |

rFactor would probably be your best bet.

I remember an ancient one called 'Formula Karts', think it was out on PC and Sega Saturn (!), don't think it was very good even back then though...
