b'Jiminy, that could make a difference ...

Thanks Jimmy, a relevant post amongst personal opinion, sheer jealousy & who knows what axe is being ground.
Got a bit of the V8SC ring of equality about it - too early to tell for mine.

Agree. What a disgrace. The team owner finally gets his underperforming kid in the car and wow, what a mess. Team Aus should pull out.

Is it possible to sack AJ? That seems to be the root of the problem!

As has always been the case, each driver gets to do 1 session, and who ever is the quickest gets to drive the rest of the weekend. Christian was both quicker and further up the time sheet than Marcus, so he gets the drive. No question of favouratism. 4.4sec of the pace and 19/21 for CJ vs. MM 5.2sec and dead last!

The sad point is that they were both increadibly slow.

wow

this looks really bad for australia, but what is really going on marshall is way quicker than that in the wet. he was even quick there in the dry in indy car. the press release says that the diff in the car was broken, can anyone verfy that one.

Can anyone explian just why Team Aus is So poor???

For Team Lebanon to be consistantly quicker all weekend is quite shameful considering how bad they have been all year although their new driver seems pretty good. I say we need a new team, Not even the worst drivers can be that far off the pace. It must be the car.

spot on !!! the thing is having a shootout in practice is plan stupid the drivers need all the seat time in the car to help setup (which we need oh so badly)

its a major flaw in our race prep so we chase our tail all weekend
its should be one driver all weekend plan and simple

With ALL the talent in the driver dpet in Australia and our almighty Team AUS is getting it's perferable a** kicked at every A1GP race. And the reason why well easy DADDY runs the team and JNR can't drive a race car.

TEAM AUS YOU SHOULD HOLD YOUR HEAD IN SHAME.

Team Australia are the only ones left doing this on purpose (although Mexico did sub Duran for Martinez after the latter was too slow on Friday and Tengyi Jiang had a leg injury or something).

Interview with Alan Jones before the sprint race: "Christian was a bit slower than we would have liked, we are not sure if it is us, the car or him, but we are blaming him because that is the easiest thing to do <chuckle>"

It is pretty obvious to the whole world that CJ is not up to it, although I agree the entire team strategy is also to blame, plus MM is not setting the world alight. NZ dug up Matt Halliday, with all the talent in Australia there must be SOMEONE available!

David Besnard could do alot worse.

Barton Mawer is over in Britain doing great things and would be an awesome selection.

So I take it you don't have David's autograph.
Be good to see a young quick Aussie driver in A1.

If you have a look at www.motorracing.tv it's saying Briscoe and Reindler are Australia's nominated drivers for A1GPs California round...
