Logan should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
VW to enter F1?

Various sites are reporting that now the old BMW boss has taken over the at VW/Audi there is a much bigger change that F1 could be on the agenda in the future.

I guess it would be logical off the back of the all conquering Audi R8 Le Mans programme and even more so now that BMW and Mercedes are going head to head.

I wonder if they would buy up a team now that Toyota has taken the final slot (Minardi/Prost?), or whether they would only supply engines?

Logan.

I just hope by the time VW finaly make it into F1, all the current engine suppliers are still racing.

I feel the BTCC curse creeping up on us.

Is it compulsory to have one of these rumours approximately once a month?

Personally I'd like to see them ironically entering the Skoda brand, and destroying the opposition.

If they failed with any of their brands, there'd b plenty of scadenfreud (check spelling) going around from BMW/Mercedes.

Imagine if they entered the skoda brand and murray coming out of retirement saying:

"its a skoda in the lead from a ferrari, then bmw, mercedes, honda, etc.."

Impossible, those rear wings are just not wide enough to get all the mechanics behind to push the Skoda along. Besides, F1 cars don't have doors for you to kick open.

I'd like to see a return to Formula One for Lamborghini. That way they can directly compete with Ferrari. They could also use a detuned F1 engine in future Diablo replacements.
