Weekend schedule (Shanghai)
Hi,
Does anyone know the schedule for the weekend, i.e. what time all of the practice sessions & qualifying starts? I am going to be there but cannot find a schedule so do not know what time to turn up at the circuit! I will post pictures each day as well for those who are interested. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help. |

For A1GP, everything always run to the same schedule (local times). There's a few examples in this forum somewhere...
Only thing is obviously where any support races fit into things. I suppose if you work on getting there early though you won't miss anything - plus you'll have more time to wander round at soak up the atmosphere! |

Thanks Asp, I still have a race program from Sepang so I will follow that. When in Malaysia I turned up at 9.30am on the Friday and had nothing to do until 1pm - won't be repeating that!

If you are really in Shanghai and can't find a schedule with less than 24hrs to go,it dos'nt promise much of a crowd? Anyone know what supporting races are scheduled if any?

I am in Shanghai but lack of information is pretty normal here - it's the same for many things. Besides I don't read Chinese, possible it was in today's Shanghai Sports Daily but I wouldn't have a clue...
They do have regular (but pretty low level) saloon cars and Formula Renault here, so I am sure there will be some support races. The local people here are pretty new to motorsport, so I expect to be in the grandstand alone tomorrow (Friday), not many people on Saturday and hopefully a decent crowd on Sunday. Hard to say though, it has been very widely promoted however one a year (i.e. F1) might be enough to fulfill the novelty value of this new motor racing thing. |
