The most exciting part of Monaco is watching the cars slingshot through the tunnel. They seem to be going so much faster because it's an enclosed space.

I am really impressed by how fast they clear the track of broken cars. Some CART tracks could learn about the use of cranes, for one thing, from Monaco.

-But Cart marshals aren't as stupid and kamikaze in Cart.

Did you see what they were doing? If there was a stack, someone would jump the fence and stand in the middle of the track waving a flag...really that is stupid.

Cart learnt its lesson in the earlier 90's when a safety team guy got skittled to his death....its going to take something like that to happen again in F1 before they tell the marshals to use their head...

Trivia Question: What is the fewest number of cars that ever finished in Monaco?

In 1966 only 4 drivers finished the Grand Prix of Monaco.
1. Jackie Stewart - BRM
2. Lorenzo Bandini - Ferrari
3. Graham Hill - BRM
4. Bob Bondurant - BRM

Although I usually find the race pretty dull and don't like the track much, it should not be removed from the calendar. I would in fact like to see MORE street races. They're something a little different to the boring modern tracks such as Catalunya and Sepang.

I think in 1996 there were only four cars running at the finish: Panis-1st, Coulthard-2nd, 3rd place finisher (don't remember the name), and Frentzen-4th.

My question is: what do they do with the cars that get to the pits but can't continue the race? Where do they go? The spaces behind the pits don't seem large enough to fit a car there.
