Dex should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
The only thing faster than a photographer...

is this marshal with his yellow flag!

I thought i had done well to hear, turn, aim and get some shots - it was only when i saw the pic afterwards that i realised this marshal was well ahead of the game with the warning to other drivers!

Almost certainly saved the following pack from ploughing into the accident.

Marshalls of Brands Hatch - I salute you!

Hehe! I can see that report now:

"Car <smudge> collided with car <ink blot> and continued. Car <mud splat> came to rest in the gravel, requiring a straight tow."

At the risk of being called a pedant, and incuring the wrath of all 'Kentish Folk': -

1/ - Marshal is spelt with only one L (Gerry, sadly, is no longer with us)
2/ - You should salute ALL marshals, as there is no such thing as a BH one

p.s. good marshalling tho!

(hides in bunker to await the attack.......)

apologies for the Marshal/Marshall thing - i'm sure if it had been Gerry in the orange suit he'd have already been out to the cars involved with a pint for each driver...

i worded it badly - instead of "Marshals of BH", i should have said "Marshals at BH" - i understand that (like the racers) marshals travel the length and breadth of the country to stand in the rain looking out for us all.

Speaking of Gerry - am I the only one who says "cheers Gerry" to the life size photo of him in the paddock diner/bar when i buy a drink? I know i got some pretty *special* looks when i did it last saturday!
