IRL Test at Iowa Speedway Set for Aug. 2nd

Apparently, the track will be ready for the IRL test on August 2nd on the new 7/8 mile Iowa Speedway...

Rusty Wallace is the designer and the $$ behind it...

He took laps around it today with the tech supervisor of the project and, of course, just gushed about how great the racetrack will be...

Click around on their home page and to other sections of the circuit....I don't know if I would have built it in iowa, but it might make for a nice oval on the Series calendar like Richmond has...
