Well Done Clive Wayland
Many, many congratulations to Clive on being awarded the M.G. Car Club Marshal of the Year Trophy @ the Marshals Bar B Q tonight, it really rounded off a good day. Couldn't have gone to a nicer bloke.

Well the number of people who have now seen ME almost lost for words has increased enormously.
I am tremendously chuffed and amazed to be so honoured. Like so many I give my time for my hobby because I love it, and this really is icing on the cake - to be picked out by people I respect in the marshalling world is truly an honour. Thanks to all of you and the MGCC for making this weekend even more special fo rme, and I dedicate this award to my late dad who first marshalled with me at the MGCC weekend at Silverstone in the early 90's and loved it so much he kept coming back until his health wouldn't permit it. Thanks |

Having just spent the weekend at the MG meeting and other meetings over the last few years I cant think of a more deserving case for the award. Your Dad did a great job and its an honour to I hope call you friend.
