Welcome to our new moderator
Just a quick note to welcome Bella as new co-moderator in the Junior Formulae forum. You've probably noticed her around (she's usually the one gossiping at the back ), but with the increased traffic (thank you all)it was felt she'd be a welcome addition.
And while I'm in a "Parish Notices" type of mood, there has been some discussion over the name of this forum, so what do you all think? The current options seem to be a change to "Single Seaters" or stay as are. Any strong views or other suggestions are welcomed. Cheers, M Last edited by Marshal; 12 Nov 2001 at 17:30. |

I agree with the single-seater move. There have been certain topics (Zip ford) discussed both on here and the national one and it would be better if we could create a clearer definition between the two.

Single Seaters sounds good. It could therefore include Premier F1, but there would have to be a line between what is single-seater and what is national and club.
Good suggestion |

I trust Bella won't be going on about 'CH' all the time ?
As for the name, seems fine as it is to me... it's a forum about Junior Formulae, so seems a fair enough name to me ? If you're gonna change it though, Junior Single Seaters seems best as this will leave a clear definition between this forum and the other single seater forums for Indy and F1. |

Good on you Bella!
As for a name change, I have no problems with the current name. As Craig said, I feel it is important to keep the "junior" title. |

Ditto
'Other single seaters' might make sense. 'Juniors' are under 16s in most sports. |

How about 'Junior National & International Single Seaters With The Exception Of CART And Formula One' ?
IIABDTTFI! With reference to the topic about ZipFord appearing on another forum, if it's more applicable here why not ask the forum moderator to move it ? |

i reckon "Single Seater" forum, people can see that there are dedicated forums for F1 and Cart, so "Single Seater" would cater for any other.
You might say, "but F1 and Cart fall into this category", but then again Touring Cars could fall into "National and Club Racing" forum Maybe "National and Club Racing" should be "Saloon Racing" forum ???? sounds good to me anyway |

Firstly welcome to bella. I know that she follows the junior formulae very closely, hell she's even one of the few people who's not going to Snetterton this weekend to go to Donington for the pinball... I mean Winter Series! (MrTTRaces knows what I'm talking about)
As for the name change, I think it should be "junior single seaters" with the national forum moved below and named Other national and club racing", so that it could incorporate series like Clios, which aren't club racing but are junior series. |
