kingfloopy should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
NASCAR Busch Series: Arizona Travel 200 (spoilers)

The Busch series moves to Phoenix for the penultimate race. Kevin Harvick has already locked up the championship. Sam Hornish will make his NASCAR debut in the #39 Mobil 1 Dodge and Montoya is also entered in the #42 Texaco Dodge. That means there's two Indy 500 winners in the field for this event (they're also both driving Dodges sponsored by oil companies, creepy). They haven't had qualifying yet at this time.

Crew chief has set Montoya a target for today: complete the race with front fenders intact!

The front fenders were intact until late on!

Whew, what a race. Harvick and Kenseth battling to the end there. Harvick was sliding all over the spot and even brushed the wall at one point in his efforts to catch Kenseth....all to no avail, the season win record is gone now. Never mind, I'm sure he'll live.

Montoya had an eventful time, bouncing around between 10th and 20th most of the race. Some solid running all in, but the end of the race saw him first get caught up in someone elses accident and clip the wall and then on the restart he was spun round by another car, but managed to avoid the wall. But another good day generally after another great qualifying effort. Just need a clean run!

Sam Hornish Jr. had what can only be described as a hideous nightmare.

Montoya was impressive yet again. He is definately the most complete driver ever. Great talent, agressive but in control. He should have done much better in F1 but consistency robbed him...I think he'll do great in NASCAR and enjoy it much more as he's with his family again so to speak. Working with them...He's a natural and the way he has adapted and been so impressive so early...

On the other hand....

Hornish, man what a bad race. From the short on boards I saw from him he went into the wall. I didn't see how he retired as I got fed up of the race as yet again there was around 13 cautions.. 2 in the first 20 laps!

He was involved in the same accident that saw Montoya clip the wall. A couple of cars made contact and spun each other around and Hornish smashed into them (followed by JPM, who slid up the track for some reason). Just unlucky really, but it didn't really make any difference to Sam's day. I'd expect he'll get better.

You should have stuck with the race luke....some great stuff, although there were a lot of yellows, 11 in total! I hope the Nextel Cup race doesn't double that total!

Cautions are a part of Nascar and necessarily so. Good racing between Harvick and Kenseth as well as the rest of the field. Hope Hornish keeps racing in Nascar. Drivers should not expect to come right in and excel. It takes much expereience in Nascar style racing. Montoya is smart enough to realize that.

I recorded the race on sky+ and watched it today. Managed to miss everything after the last restart as I had the 'end of recorded programme' message appear! Harvick was really trying to break that record but Kenseth had a great car.
Kept an eye on Montoya he seemed to be able to hold is own although not in the top 10, looks as though he was tapped into the wall during the multi car wreck. Reading on NASCAR.com he doesn't seem too happy with driving standards mid field, calling drivers there 'dumb'.

You didn't miss much, after Harvick slid the back end out and clobbered the wall, annother caution came out. And Kenseth nailed 'em on the restart and that was that.

It was good clean racing, I was pondering if Harvick was going to show Matt the fender...

Yeah that's what I was waiting for, do you think he learnt anything from the bust up with Scott Rigg's team the previous week?
