Britcar 2007 calender?...........
Does anyone know the 2007 Britcar/Britsports/S1 provisional calendar?

A bit of 'Googling' brought this up. This is the provisional calendar and looks suspiciously like the version on DSC. So it's either been copied from there or from a general press release.
March 24 Silverstone International Circuit 120 Mins April 28-29 Brands Hatch GP Support Race A1 GP 2 x 50 Mins May 12 Snetterton (Formula Palmer Audi) 180 Mins May 28 Oulton Park (Best of British) 120 Mins June 16 Spa-Francorchamps (Best of British)(Night)240 Mins July 14 Castle Combe 2 x 50 Mins August 4 Donington Park (Best of British) 120 Mins Sept 8/9 Silverstone GP Britcar 24 Hours |

Yes, Britcar has a great calendar with A1GP support and moving onto promoted Great and British meetings at Spa, Oulton and Donington (with S1s at Brands). I think it could be the best year yet for Britcar and this calendar may entice some teams over from British GT too.............

EERC Championships
The Spa race will be 4hr night race with BritSports cars on track with BritCar so it will be like a Jnr LMES race!!! Lmp3 and GT3 cars out together, should be great fun for all.
BritCar and BritSport Grids looking very good for 2007 lots of interest and lots of new CN cars out in BritSports. BritSports will have 3 classes C3, CN, MCE similar to VdeV. Having looked at the provisional regs they should work very well at keeping the racing close and fair for a wide variety of cars. |
