Michael Aikey should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Seeking information on Jack Leary, British 500cc driver, 1950's

I'm looking for biographical information on Jack Leary, a British driver in the 1950's. Leary drove a 500cc Cooper briefly in the '50's. Did his driving career go beyond that and does anyone know birth and death dates (assuming the fellow is deceased). Thanks.

According to Austen May Leary first appeared at Brands Hatch in July 1950 driving a Cooper said to be Stan Coldham's original car which would make it one of the first production cars from 1948. He finished second in his heat and in the final of the Junior Brands Hatch championship.

Thank you for the information. He doesn't show up in the 1957 Motor Racing and Mortor Rally Directory so I'm wondering if his racing career has ended by that time.
