Pick any leading P2 chassis with Judd or AER power, Michelin tyres and two pro drivers and you'll presure the Porshe's.
Upto now we haven't seen a complete privateer P2 package that could take the fight to the Porsche's, they've always lacked one element. The Acura teams will show how good these off the shelf chassis really are. |

although RML have not had the chance or honour of going up against the might of the porsche's. however though the acura engined lola's and courage's should prove a huge threat to porsche, on a scale of pace and reliability. |

Rumour has it that Zytek are building 3 07s tubs.......obviously one will be Barazi's LMP2 car....perhaps 2 works LMP1s coming? Lets hope so. Either way, having 3 Zytek 07s around will be great for sportscar racing. Really feel that the 2 prototype classes are going to be brilliant next year....bring on the racing!

It's normal to build 1 extra tub ( crash test, spare,...).
Concerning RML, the word is out that they might come with something completely different than these last years... |

just read on planetlemans, LM 24 hours entry list for 2007 and it states 2 RML run MG lola EX264's.
so could RML be running 2 cars at last at lemans and finally get the chance to quash porsche? and has there also been any kind of hint from RML that they will be running 2 car's at lemans in 2007? |

Have just got wind of some LMP1 news that sadly is confidential at the moment, however take it from me - it's GOOD news! More to come.

Surely no-one will be running EX264s or Zytek 06s as both are hybrids aren't they? I thought invites are for teams anyway, not cars. Did read somewhere recently on ten-tenths that RML might be doing something different in 2007. Anything to do with your Zytek LMP1 news, I love 04s?

I asume they can run full LMP1 cars at Le Mans, even though they won the spots with hybrids.

I belive like the FIA teams, the invite is the priviledge of the team, chassis is irrelevant. However, is class important? As in, could a team win a spot in LMP2 and the move to LMP1 for the race? |

Not certain. But the ACO lists them by class and team(not car) so I would venture it is a class invitation. Could be wrong though!!
