The STIG should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Whatever happened to...?

The Simmonite Sisters? I mean, where did they go? Last I heard they were in Hill rallying but even there they appear to have disappeared.

Didnt one of them get done for drink driving and that kind of put an end to their careers on the rally scene!

Shame actually coz they were reasonably quick, but they only got so much telly coz Mason was their PR man!

What about Alaister Ginley, turns up with buckets of money and bran spanking Impreza WRC cars and then disappears!

Was it all a bit too much for the taxman?

Stephanie and Rachael still compete in motorsport with their father and plan to drive with him in the French off-road championships which starts in April.
Hardly at an end. It's only 3 points and for speeding, no mention of drink-driving. Also it was their father who was jailed rather than either of the sisters.

Perhaps them competing in France has taken them off of the radar over here somewhat?

I remember reading about it - the sentence seemed very harsh. Its also astonishing the amount of police time (our money) spent on trivia like this.

Yet when my car (which I'd spend 3 years restoring) was trashed on a public car park under a streetlamp in full view of CCTV cameras the police took no further action saying it would take too many resources to pursue the offender... Same story when a friend got mugged...

Makes you wonder!

No it doesnt, you are ot famous and are not involved with the press in anyway, and these days the police service is a business, they wont purue the poeple that messed your car up coz it doesnt make them any money.

Rachel can be seen co-presenting on Thunder Races. Which was originally shown on The Discovery Channel, but is currently being repeated on Ch4.

Here's a pic of the girls in their hey-day Simmonite Sisters
