stradlin21 has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
i will say though, its a damn shame that Alex Barron is out of a ride, and Patrick Carpentier for that matter

great shame

No one signed Neel Jani, nor Red Bull yet, where d'you see Adam Carroll, lad without budget. You cannot drive in CC without sufficient budget behind you.

IRL doesn't need new car, new engine deals, doesn't need Euro track escaped, because this would kill the series, just like, IMO, it is going to kill Champ Car.

Look, even PKV Racing, Minardi Team USA, Forsythe Championship Racing, RuSPORT shop for drivers with cash. And KK wants to go for Euro trip...

Care to elaborate on how updating a chassis/engine would kill a series?
It's called moving to something cheaper..so that there is more opportunity for teams to begin.

You included AGR but didnt include Forsythe in your "objective" look at the competitiveness of each series. How did you come to that conclusion ?

AGR won races, less than Forsythe and then CTE even won races and had podiums.

Hazza, this thread begun about the IRL, it was then pro IRL people who introduced CC into this discussion.

jeez...how many times must the same old tired arguements be wheeled out...surely you all get sick of of going IRL is better, no CCWS is better over and over and over again...

I for one like both series and watch both series

You can laugh all you want, but the fact is that I'd tune in to any race Justin Wilson is driving in, in any series, just to see him drive.

You need to buy new package, you need money to buy them. To have money you need sponsorship money, if you do not have backers you need to sign pay-drivers...

You can lease equipment Alex.

Also the point is the new chassis will be cheaper long term

You may complain about CC fans coming over here when you start making comparisons, but look at the bright side you get more posts in the IRL forum in a couple of hours then you usually do in a week.
What else do you have to talk about???

I know you can lease, but someone still needs to pay Don for Panozes.

What can you say, we have full entry list (with three possibilities), and we know calendar for months... The season kicks off later in a year.
