Bluewolf has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Do we all own Diecast F1 cars???

I don't know if it's allowed to name brand names here so I won't - but -- just curious -- how many here own 1/18 scale or bigger Diecast F1 models -- I've got a few -- My favorite is my Ferrari 1990 641/2 {No Driver} driven by Alan Prost.

No problem with naming brands at all Bluewolf!

I've moved this thread to armchair, where you will find a lot of folk who collect such models.

I don't have many F1 models, mostly because the only ones I've seen over here are Hot Wheels, which aren't that great IMO...

Thanks Knowlesy : ) ------ The cars I have are all made by EXOTO -- really nice quality and I believe they're headquartered near me in the Los Angeles area. I want to get the Mansell 1992 Williams-Renault FW14B {no driver}

I have two Exoto models, they're awesome - Ferrari 640 and Sauber C9. Plus many other Minichamps etc.

A friend of mine has a few Exoto models, the Prost Ferrari and suchlike. Absolutely staggering detail.

I always wanted the Villeneuve 312T4, but have never took the plunge and bought it. Maybe when I have more money...

I do have a few (as well as some non-diecast kids toys I had when I was younger!). We recently had a 1:18 scale 97 Williams but was replaced with a 1:43 scale 97 British GP Williams.

I used to have an old David Coulthard model but lost it when I moved - I think it was a 94 Williams but perhaps a McLaren. Was won in an F1 related bet with my Dad a while ago!

Dad has a much better collection than me - he has a cabinet which contains all of the Jordan cars until they were taken over with no gaps, and various other cars including Gilles Villeneuve and others which I can't remember!

Exoto are a bit cheaper in the US, about £30 which is good. The 1990 Ferrari, and others I really would love to have....They always seem to make fanatastic and the best looking and most distinctive cars...

I have a large 1:18 collection of F1 cars around 40, Minichamps and a few Mattel. This started back in 1998 when I bought my first Minichamps. Mostly Senna and Schui...A few fag liveries as well....converted. A few sports cars as well, for example the Le Mans winners, most disncitive; the 2003 Autoart Bentley Speed 8. I want to sell that as well but I don't know if it would be too early...

I'm selling most of them and other merchandise on ebay, from reviews, to shirts, to games to hats, on ebay. (except Senna) I won't post a link as I know you're not allowed but if you're interested contact me....

I'm also starting to get into 1:43s, I have a few classic Mansell and Senna cars, and classic CART diecasts, signed also, which is great...

My favourite is probably the 1994 Nigel Mansell Williams French GP, RARE and signed....I don't know whether to hang onto it, or take the plunge and sell that on ebay with my other signed Mansell cars.......

How can Exoto cars be possibly £30 in the US? In a sale maybe!

If that is true, I'm heading there for my christmas shopping!

My collection at the minute resides in the loft.....no doubt it is all rotting away as it is quite cold up there. I just have no space for them since I moved back home and I only keep my Montoya 1/18 collection in my room these days, along with the orange McLarens.

May well have to sell some cars to be honest, which is sad.

Maybe he didn't mean 30 pounds but rather 30 pounds cheaper -- : ) The 1992 Williams-Renault FW14B {Mansell-no driver} by Exoto is selling in the
U. S. for $298.95 right now.

No around £30 cheaper. Well I remember they were $100, which makes them £50 so quite some way cheaper...This was last decade though..

Got a whole display case full of them. I'm in urgent need of a Hesketh 308C and still trying to complete a collection of all BRM models all in 1/43. Paticularly want a V16 mk i & ii and a P201.

Ive got a few 1/18 F1 cars - a '97 Fisichella Jordan (bought on school trip to France!), '95 Coulthard Williams, '97 Frentzen Williams, 2001 Irvine Jaguar and a 2004 Jordan (Heidfeld). Got lots of 1/43 ones as well, mostly 'interesting' or less notable cars (i.e lovable backmarkers!) such as a '96 Forti and '95 Pacific. Haven't bought any for a while though...

I don't own any...considering all they are going to do is collect dust on one of my shelves I don't see the point. I prefer to watch the real thing in action
