e-bay rallycross car

see this on e- bay ,Item number: 170068839431
now those who can remember when they raced in mini x must know how competitive and well built there cars where , this would storm the revivals class if it was rebuilt any one looking for a car for mods would look at the Leigh lock and safe boys motor they where always quick

Yes I agree this would be perfect for the Revivals Rallycross. It might be another one for Richard and the boys at Thriplow. Who was the driver ? as I don't remember the car. The only X19 I remember belonged to Harry Hope.

Anyway when are we going to see your out Paul in Revivals ? It looks like the James Guest Mini will be out this year.

My cousin raced a Fiat X19, it may even have been the ex Harry Hope car, He swapped it for a non turbo Porsche Carrera that was never went half as quick.

That car belongs to russ reader (i think thats how you spell it). I remember seeing the car at his yard wen i was a lot younger in 1990. i would have been 8. (just to make all you old gits feel even older he he) I never saw it race tho.
My dad used to do all the work on his 1500 mini. i dont know if he had anything to do wiv the fiat tho. I'll ave a chat wiv him tomorrow about it.

Barrie I think the Harry Hope (Arry Flattenem) Fiat X19 was powered by a BDA

As Ian pointed out this one is owned by Russ Reader and is powered by a Lancia twin cam so I believe the cars to be different. Ian when are you going to send in your membership ?
