Why is the news so scarce out of Houston? I cannot find anything yet, and it is a little after noon in Houston.

Interesting to see Doornbos running for Minardi, Wirth for DCR and Servia with RuSport.
I find it odd that PKV and Minardi only ran one car in the first session. Where is Dominguez? I thought his Pemex sponsorship was a forgone conclusion for 2007? |

Where is Jos Verstappen? Looks like his "threat" no practice no drive did not do him any good. Too bad, I would have liked to see what he could do.
No Bruno either. Hmmm. I wonder if OWRS is holding out for sponsors before paying for drivers. I count 14 at this test for the morning session. |

Session 2 results http://champcarworldseries.com/Resul...ts.asp?ID=1665 Im guessing Andreas Wirth caught some dry running while everyone else missed out , either that or he was really hooked up LOL |

Day two: Now 15 cars on the grid. Will Power is testing too and Bruno Junqueira takes over the Dale Coyne car from Wirth...

The results from Tuesday testing were interesting. Power was in the top spot while guys like Wilson, PT, Tag struggled.

Very interesting. Rahal being second is impressive - faster than his teamate. I am beginning to think that Jani is going to help take PKV to the level it will take to win and finish on the podium with consistency.

Will is going to be hard to beat this year now that he is getting on top of the new car. TA are looking real good.

Very encouraging running from both TA drivers but "hard to beat" I think is beating the drum a bit much.

I dont know about that, Wilson is definately going to be in the hunt for this years Championship I think, and as has been said he really is adapting to the new car very well at the moment. Still, early days yet.

You mean in the same way you said we were going to eat our words as Ryan Briscoe would line up for Team Australia ?
I believe TA and Will Power will have a strong season but to assess after one test that they will be hard to beat suggests a weak grasp on reality |
