Well the old shape Mini's are back! Two great races at Silverstone today, and must give a big shout to number 60 in the Miglias, poodling around, when he passed us , at Priory, to finish he had a broad grin on his face . The other races were good too, shame about the last FPA race, but thats another story( thread ).

You are probably better off getting excited about Minis on Minimania or some other UK forum mate...I don't think there is a great deal of interest here except for a few die-hards ()

Well I for one really enjoyed the old shape Minis at Silverstone as did alot of other Marshalls I spoke to. As CrhisA said It was a good days racing in general apart from the last FPA race and I am really looking forward to the Mighty Minis and Super Mighty Minis at Mallory on Monday.

We are not all youngsters and can get nostalic at old cars that bring back memories.

shame about the last FPA race....
So what did happen in the FPA race?????
I saw the results that said about 6 cars were 23laps behind the leader...which I found strange as the leader only did 22 laps!!!!
please tell more..

I love Mini's and find them always to be exceptionally well-behaved!

There was a large startline accident in the second FPA race, with Matt Hamilton taken to hospital with a suspected broken leg.

With so many cars involved, a cruel person might suggest that it was just like the old days of FPA.

So I believe, which is why I said that a cruel person would suggest it! It is ironic/unfortunate that this happened at the first meeting of FPA's rebirth.
