2003 MotoGP feast on ESPN Classic (UK)

Checked the Sky EPG today to see what wonders were in store over the coming week sports wise and something on ESPN Classic caught my eye: MotoGP 2003, Suzuka.

I wondered, given what had happened in that race, what the hell it was being shown for. It seemed a bit tasteless. But looking at the days after it seems we are getting a race per day and, by the looks of things, they'll be showing the entire season. With the programmes being an hour long, they are likely to be full races too.

So, for those who got into MotoGP late, or for those who regret not taping MotoGP races back then and want to see them again, now may be the time to re-live the Rossi/Gibernau battles!

They must ahve bought the rights to show this and hopefully after the Sheene and British GP they ahve shown on there, the viewing figures showed that people really want to watch all this stuff.

Its clear theya re just buying copy from BBC, Sky and ITV so lets try and get NASCAR or Superbikes, anything.

If its UKbased stuff surely the Foggy factor might make them put stuff on!

Had a chance to watch the Japan coverage. It is highlights of MotoGP (20mins) and the 125 and 250's (over 10mins each).

Good stuff. And the sound of that Ducati in it's first season was really something else, it absolutely screamed!
