thanx VSCC

i would like to thank the VSCC for putting on an entertaining day,s racing at oulton park. The weather was perfect if not a little too warm for some. The guy,s who race these vintage car,s must be barmy,no roll bar,no harness, and very little protection, but the racing i saw was brilliant. Thanks to each and everyone of them.

I too enjoyed all the racing and thanx Nadine I managed to keep out of the sun.

There's a lovely picture of Fazza on all fours in the Manchester Evening News.

A good day's racing - and the normal VSCC Oulton weather!

I thought Old Hall was going to ruin it's reputation by being quiet all day - right until the moment I started singing something* that had popped into my head and then the Lister Jaguar Nobbly decided to eat lots of rubber - I'm just glad he was one of the few to be wearing a full harness

* The tune happened to be a Tommy Steele classic...'Crash, Bang, Wallop...what a picture' - I'll not be singing that again

I was flagging from the new flag box at deerleap for this one & just had to stand & watch this unfortunate scene of events unfold , without being able to do anything . I was so glad to hear a good outcome & wish the driver a speedy recovery & hope to see you back real soon .
A great days racing by some exceptional cars & drivers , & great fun on the day with some drivers on the start line . Thanks !!, its this sort of day which keeps me marshalling !!

Mr Pittaway is known for causing a drama although not normally to this level! Glad he is ok though and that most of you enjoyed watching our old timers race, also nice to have a bit if sunshine because always seem to remember very rainy VSCC Oultons!
