I day dream of working in motorsport, but the reality currently is that I work in a commercial vehicle environment to earn a salary (of sorts) fettle old engines/cars as a part time hobby/job to pay for my racing as a hobby seems to be a reasonable balance. all the while thats working I'm not killing an enjoyable hobby buy trying to turn it into a career/job
having said all that I enjoy nearly all of what I do, otherwise I wouldn't do it! |

davyboy is correct in what he said, as a friend of mine works for a current top F1 team and is never home, that's ok if you're free n easy but he is married with a couple of kids, I'm not going to preach what other people should and shouldn't do but it can be a very selfish sport !

a degree is useless without any form of practical knowledge and experience, that is what employers look for when recruiting, hence why since graduating ive been mechanic'ing to gain more practical experience before hopefully using more of the skills i learnt during my degree |
