BAZzzzz c has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!

Maybe I should of said it`s a rough series, there is not alot of respect between the drivers. David Besnard got a bit of a hard time. Its great to watch though, love every minute of it.

am hoping to cross the ditch for the Hamilton steet race for the V8's and it would be great to see The Rat racing the NZV8's, great stuff, IMO he will go well.

Bazzz..........Not like you to be so mean spirited..........Just because the 'Rat' deserted a ship he was convinced was sinking........Is no reason to bag Paul's driving ability.........Shame on you Bazzzzzz.

Obviously HSV/Toll have a quite different opinion of Pauls ability.......As indeed do I..........He is in my opinion one of the very best drivers New Zealand has ever exported.........Like a lot of other very good drivers you need to be in the right spot at the right time........How bad does Jenson Button look right now?......If Ford had followed through with their many promises to Paul......things could have been very different for him.

Tracer Motorsport have pulled off a remarkable coup.........In signing the 'Rat' to replace Bezzie, and I for one can hardly wait for the NZ season to start........Radisich vs Besnard vs Scott vs McIntrye, Fogg Booth etc........Wow!

Apart from the fact that Bazzz drives a very "mature" Citreon that has a lot more lines and curves than he does, I think that he is a bit tough on Paul post-TKR. Maybe there is some ill-feeling there of sorts?

Anyway, your post is of much interest, v8's rule!

If Besnard has left Tracer, then which team has he moved to?...which is what you imply. Is he in the MPM stable or elsewhere?

Are International Motorsport running two Caltex cars, just one, or are Caltex still on contract?

It'd be really nice to get a heads up on the NZ V8s from behind the scenes

at least at Tracer and HSV paul won't have to worry about his car getting locked up by FPR because someone forgot to pay the bills

and TKR needed bog, paint and stickers a hell of alot besides bathurst, which IMO wasn't his fault he was run wide by Pretty, and as V8's rule said just because he left TKR because they seemed to be going under is no reason to bag The Rat just look at his stats for his career and IMO he done some good sevices to TKR over the years and put the pretty average car in decent positions.

He will deal with the V8 scene in NZ as he has always done, by leading and running at the front. In his many guest appearances in the series, and even back when he appeared more regularly in the Pedersen family cars, he has always been a front runner in those races, and now finally having time to actually have a good crack at it, we should see some fireworks.

Whatever happens, back at home on the circuits he grew up on (apart form Hamilton of course, although he should be familiar with the streets there at least), and back with Ford NZ who has supported him so much over the years, he will be spectacular and will mix the series up quite a bit.

Now if only someone would put Craig Baird into a car we would be guaranteed an epic series, much like the races of years ago with Paul in the fast but very fragile and unreliable Telstar against Craig in the BMW. Those races were some of the best ever seen in NZ over the years. Two drivers who do not know when to back off, and never will.
