Minardi fan should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

Well, yes, I'm SOOOOO disappointed because my man HHF didn't win it.... And Barrichello didn't win either, but....

David did, which is remotely more interesting than another Cranky Mika or TGF win.

Well done David - keep driving like that any perhaps this season will be a bit more interesting than I thought.

Perhaps.

freud has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
This is why I'm a big fan of Mclarens and Mika... They have character. Since we all know that Ron Dennis could've ordered DC to move over for Mika since he obviously is the team's main contender for the WDC and also going for his 3rd consecutive title. Well done Mclarens for letting DC take the win he deserved so much!

All I can say is DC deserved his win today, he fought for it and did what he had to do, which is less than I can say for Mika, (still my 2nd favorite driver though). I think I'm starting to like DC more and more.

As for McLaren having character....

I'm not a particular fan of David Coulthard myself, but I have to congratulate him on his well deserved win today.
And.... they showed Heidi several times today while the ErjaCam seems to have been broken.

Maybe it was that dress Erja was wearing that MinardiGuy mentioned the other day, that broke the camera?

I was waiting for Cranky Mika to crowd DC off the track trying to pass him for the win, both McLarens DNF and Michael wins. That would have been a highlight film for the ages!

However, I am glad that since neither of my guys won, DC did. Well done guy.

Well done DC!

Although I notice that this category has very few posts compared to the other post race categories, so I see he is still not getting the respect he deserves from this forum.

Not a big fan of DC but full marks for his run today.

He made a nice pass on RB to take the lead

Well ole Boxjaw did it and the nice thing about it was that we might jus have a Mclaren ' in-house ' scrap by mid-season !!!

I think thats the best we'll see of Dustbin Barrichello this season - 33laps!!(Are Ferrari seriously 'demolishing' this mans car???)....Why?

DC wins bring Schumi+Anti-Schumi fanatics together ...i think

Why is everyone so nice to DC? He wins his races by default (this one included: Hakkinen's car problem) and whenever he actually stands a chance of winning genuinly he does something stupid (Nurburgring, Silverstone 98 etc.)

DC is NOT THAT GREAT. He really isn't! The car has always carried him through his carreer.

Plus which, his chin MUST give him some aerodynamic advantage. Is it legal? Note he doesn't have one of those air deflectors at the bottom of his helmet. Why? HE DOESN'T NEED ONE!

A little harsh, Tristan! I have to agree with the rest of the posters on this topic, DCs win was well deserved. He is not my favourite driver either, but credit should be given when credit is due.

He may not be the best, but he did the best out of the rest when it mattered. And wasn't it refreshing to see a pass for the lead on the track. Oh yea, the mechanical problem EVERYONE seems to have when they get dropped, how convienient and increasingly typical. It wasn't my fault it's this expensive machinery... Maybe it should be a footrace--naw, we would still hear excuses; I couldn't pass the dirty(stinky) air you know, my hydraulics ( I missed the water stop and I really had to p** bad, I had my left shoe go down...

Lets see. According to you, Tristan:
1. He's lucky
2. He does stupid things
3. He is not that great
4. He has a prominent jaw (unforgivable!)

I guess, your right, there's is no reason to be nice to DC for any reason whatsoever. Whatever could we have been thinking!

Congrats anyway, Mr. Coulthard.

Did anyone else read in the press last week about DC's little chat with 'Our Nige'?

Seems Il Leone told DC to beleive in himself just one more percent, and he could achieve anything he wanted.

That is the explanation he's giving for that RB move, anyway.

What's next? Monstrous eyebrows and moustache? ...Just to take the focus off his jaw of course!

A Nigel Moustache on DC? THE HORROR! The only thing scarier than that would be the same thing on TGF. If those two keep doing well, it will be "The Battle Of The Chins" -"TGF Wins by a Chin!" would make a good headline.
