Wow. I hope that's true. It would be trully amazing to see a factory backed drifting championship in the UK (maybe pan-Euro, considering our top one is called 'E'DC).
Perhaps with a Merc in the mix, Nissan might come with a factory backed R35 and maybe Bimmer with a new M3 and we can have some fun I like the idea of it becoming a more top-level form of motorsport, bang for the buck of the spectactor is pretty good (if using only a few corners it does limit the number of people that can see it - perhaps have several different events at different corners throughout the day?). I only saw EDC Round 1 this year at Donny, but I truly enjoyed myself, and it would be brilliant if it could hit the big leagues. Please come play Mr Mercedes! |

Yeah, would be cool, from viewing the threads on driftworks, car prep for next year will be stupendously amazing (2JZ S15, V8 S15 and 1UZ S13 for example)
