I don't think either the IRL or Las Vegas are that dumb.
And why in the world would you have a street race in Portland when the track, recently paved, is within the city limits? |

Yes can't see the point in a portland street race, when you have a perfectly good repaved circuit already there.
Looks like a Dubai race may be a goer. Probably not a bad idea with the amount of investment flowing into the place. |

Dubai is possibly a bit miffed about Abu Dhabi being given the GP, and the reason series race there in the first place is because people in those countries pay them to do so. If Champ Car is being paid for a trip to Dubai, excellent. If not, a very dumb idea surely.

It's debatable, but a huge amount of investment is flowing into the region and it might be wise to tap into that. |

Hmmm, ya know, I have no problem with the series going where they will get paid to race...unfortunately further away from North America.
But, who is the benifactor?...the owners, not the teams, right?....which costs them $$$$ to ship equipment, and struggle for sponsors in markets that don`t fit the bill. Then again, if most of the teams belong to the owners.... we can see where this is headed. Oh, and should we replace the drivers at each race to appease each country...like Mexico?...The racing better be good, that`s all I hope. |
