Without event sponsors for the events there will be less promotion which means a smaller gate which means less revenue. Without sponsors for the teams there could well be fewer cars on the grid which would make it more difficult to attract event sponsors which will mean less money for promotion which would mean a smaller gate which means less revenue... |

One of those that I can't say, except it's a good source who has done business with two of those tracks before.
If Tony's been put on there, that's good for both CC and the FIA. And the statement you quoted is true. All those tracks in Europe are so close together, they compete for the same people, much like the U.S. midwest, except they're all road-racing fans. In the U.S. midwest, you have Mid-Ohio, Road America and some ovals. |

Mystery, you missed my point. Why didn't they TALK in March about a race at Donington whenever....like everyone else does when they're putting a schedule together.

The suggestion of Donington around Assen's September date...
The World Superbikes are un-moveable from the week before. British F3/GT including a 2 hour GT race are on the week following Assen, though this might be an option if agreements could be reached. |

...from the same guy who told us a couple weeks ago that Steelback would be back and it was business as usual. Now, there are SIX interested parties as he tries to make a market for sponsorship. Now, he just told anyone he's been talking to that he's going to play 'em off each other like they're crawling all over it. So they're all gonna know (if they exist) he speaks with forked tongue. And the price goes down.
