Bruntingthorpe or Elvington??
I've been bought my first ever track day, with a lamborghini gallardo and ferrari 360, i've got the choice of going to Bruntingthorpe or Elvington....which one is best? I've heard both are good for novices due to good run off space, but which can deliver a better experience?
Replies will be appreciated! Cheers Last edited by Matto1986; 4 Mar 2008 at 02:07. |

I can only talk of Bruntingthorpe, as I have never been to Elvington. Bruningthorpe is a good venue. They use a few different configurations. I presume that you won't be using the one with the two mile straight (you will be doing nearly 200mph if you do in those cars!). They do use cones for artificial chicanes at Bruntingthorpe too. Sometimes this can be good and create a fun course (straight lines are dull), sometimes they can go OTT and it is all stop start.
However this may well also be the case at Elvington. Whatever those cars will sound amazing! Have a great time and let us know how it went. |
