We're lacking a bit of straight line speed but the lap times are as fast as any but it makes overtaking difficult.
Today we topped the testing timesheets with a 1 second difference towards the nearest oposition. and the straight line speed will be improved, just wait and see. |

It's nice that Alan Cooper has another source of finances so that he doesn't have to create the 2001 car with a shoestring budget.

All I know is that we develop almost 40 percent of the car in our own workshop. we've always did it and most of the times Swift copies our modifications on their own cars.
another thing is preparation. I suspect that mackie Motorsport holds up a high standard. as do we but the swift team has always been doubtful at least but Cooper will turn that around eventually but it'll take some time to turn a factory and team around |

We have to do a lot of development to the Mygale as well obviously the team running a swift in UK must be leaving the car in its factory condition.
By the way do you know my dad cos he says that he knows someone from Geva |

Geva, how long have you been using Swift?
It was run by a guy called Gaving Wills before i think, and I do not think he did a great job. So When cooper turns things around, hopefully it will work out ok for your team, stick with them, i am sure they will improve. I am quite interested in the fact that you do all your own development, are you not a works team? |

We're a semi works team.
Well we've been running swifts regurlarly since 1994. before that we've run a Dulon, a Royale, A van Diemen, An early swift, A reynard, a one off Wiet, A Delta (believe it or not, the car broke in half) and a Mondiale. Our drivers have been Tom Coronel, Sepp Koster, Both the Bleekemolen brothers, Ricardo van der Ende, Tom van Bavel and now we have tristan te pas and jaap van lagen. Tristan Wrecked a Vandiemen whilest testing it at Brands O and Mackmot who's your father? |
