He was showing off, and he made a mistake which he won't forget for quite some time..
Anthony Hamilton knows how hard it has been... |

Mr Hamilton will probably blame the crash on the fact that it had just begun to rain and he was left out on the road with the wrong tyres on.Rumour has it that he was rather disappointed with the response of the breakdown (crane) truck. Also mumbled something about run-off areas.

That is the sort of embarrasing thing that all parents do!
Me thinks he may be better off in a Honda as they tend to go at a pace that an older man with poor reactions can manage. |

If he would have been driving a Merc it probably would have told him that he was about to have an accident and shown him a complete computer generated animation via the in-car display and then chastised him for such bad driving habits before taking control and showing him how it should be done.
The Porsche probably thought "Oh no, not again..." in the instant before it left the road. (Sorry, bad hitch hikers joke) |

I rather liked Anthony's answer when questioned by Louise Goodman. Top bloke.

A Porsche, a McLaren and a Ferrari, yeah, been a good week. They missed Heidfeld's BMW though.
