Anyone heard of or been "Rick Rolled" before??

One of the funniest, most annoying and frustrating websites in the world by far. Tell of your experiences if you've been a victim of getting Rick Rolled".

No, I've not been Rick rolled. The Pipettes tried but I know them too well. Mwahahaha!

Ironic, really, given that Rick Ghastley wants nothing to do with the pop world. Why could they not have picked something that deserves a re-issue? Like "Ernie" by Benny Hill or something?

It's a hell of a job getting out of it isn't it!

I just had to ask about Rick Rolled. It's quite popular among my mates at school. For example, a friend of mine in our Computing class was having his last lesson of that subject because it was his last day of Yr12, so he decided he was going to go into other people's accounts and Rick Roll as many computers in the class as he could and leave them like that when we left for lunch. 5 computers got Rick Rolled that day on 3 different people's accounts and it was one of the most hilarious things I've ever been a part of! Rick Rolling himself was one of his fav things to do in class because he liked the song, strangely enough. Rick Rolling friends when they leave class is also fun too.

I tried it. The phrase "went down like a lead balloon" springs to mind.

Did you actually Rick Roll yourself!! If you did, bad move, mate! The idea is that you Rick Roll someone else, like a friend if you didn't know. (Meaning to say in a friendly voice.)

BTW, I don't know what you mean by the phrase "Went down like a lead balloon".

I should say this for anyone planning to Rick Roll someone: Don't click the link that I've provided or suffer the consequences of Rick Rolling yourself!

No I didnt Rick Roll myself. I tried it in one of the forums that I post on here and one of the mods was none too pleased!

If something that you do or say is doesnt go go down well with someone, you can say that it "went down like a lead balloon", ie a balloon made of lead would sink pretty fast? Get it? Got It? Good!
