Sponsorship "Quotes"??

Hi Guys,

I'm helping out my niece with a piece he's doing for a uni assignment on sports marketing and, in particular, sponsorship in sports. He's looking at the actual dollar figures in many various sports, including motorsport. Being a racing fan, I was more than happy to help out.

What I'm after (and I'm hoping somebody out there will be able to help me with this) is a quote or reference of some sort (on a website or printed magazine/newspaper etc) from a V8Supercar team on the amount of money they ask for in relation to where and how big on the car this money goes towards.

So for example, I'm after "$50,000 will get you this; $500,000 will get you this, $5million will get you this" from a team.

I'm after this in relation to either the V8Supercar Series, or the Fujitsu Series. Fujitsu Series would be more valuable as I already have some small figures on the main game, but would love any references from any source available.

Does anybody know of anything out there I can get my hands on? I remember a while ago there used to be a 3D model of a car (FPR??) with references to positions on the car and what the value would be. But I can't for the life of me find this anymore.

There was a similar model with a F1 car in the late 1990s..

the wing-endplates on a ferrari were worth $2 Million a season.. the rear wing was worth $15 million.. Sidepod was worth $40 million.

etc..

I doubt it would really make sense to a lot of teams now anyway... because they have 'intergrated' sponsorships... which makes it more then just a sticker on a car..

Eg. "alonso appearing in ING commercials"...
