Only a couple of weeks away anyone know of any Europeans joining in as it it is Test event for a potencial FIA round next year.

You should really enjoy it Jon! Come down on the grid and say hi to me and Boy Blunder. Maybe there are some good shots to be had from behind the grid as the supercars belt off the line (don't forget - 0-60mph in 2 [YES TWO] seconds!!!!).

Should be around 60 races plus practice so plenty to keep you busy.

Watch out though for dust or mud getting on your lens!

Is it a one day or two day meeting does anyone know?

1 dayer I understand. I'm at Brands on the Sunday and then heading down to Lydden on the Monday.

And I'll make sure to come and say hi for sure. You won't miss me though with my name on the lens hood so say hi if I don't!

Rallycrossuk.com forum (Pat Doran sub-forum) has the two potentials as Per Eklund and Koen Pauwels. I am not clever enough to post a direct link.

Hopefully there will be more and we can show the officials that Lydden deserves/commands the ERC next year.

Current entry list does not confirm anything - also on rxuk.com

Sverre Isachsen may attend on the Bank Holiday race at Lydden. As always it’s a money thing. “If I can get a sponsor to make the cost of going I’d love to drive there. I’m a very good friend with Pat and it would be great to race in his home series and to race at Lydden! I’ve only seen it on TV and it‘s fast.
