Edenbridge Racing Is No More!
I hear from a very very reliable source that the Edenbridge racing BMW team has gone bust.
The Cars and drivers from the Euro SPC are now run by Mezzanne racing |

Did Edenbridge not run in Formula 3000 a few years ago, with Werner Lumpberger??? Or am I confused with someone else?

Edenbridge was in F3000:
EFR purchased the two car international F3000 race team formerly known as Edenbridge Racing, and relocated it to Ledbury. (source: http://www.euroav.com/Pages/history.html ) 1998: 5th Edenbridge Lola T96/50-Zytek Max Wilson (BR) 6th Edenbridge Lola T96/50-Zytek Werner Lupberger (ZA) (source: http://dizzy1000.tripod.com/1998.htm) European Formula team was European Edenbridge until after round 5, when European Formula bought out Edenbridge after the partnership dissolved. 17th European Formula Lola B99/50-Zytek Oliver Gavin (GB) 18th European Formula Lola B99/50-Zytek Jamie Davies (GB) (source: http://dizzy1000.tripod.com/1999.htm) |

I feel so sorry for Peter Briggs. He has put a lot of effort into his motor racing even all those years ago in F3. He is a man who deserves success.
And to those of you who are glad then i pity you. |

Some people are just sole supporters of the BTCC, not Touring Cars, or Motorsport on a whole.

Not at all. Just some people are so anti-other Touring cars.

I am thoroughly sick and tired of people being pro-BTCC and nothing else. It is disgraceful. I have seen it at work in Australia. Super Touring vs V8Supercar. It aint pretty. Just enjoy all forms of touring car racing. vauxhall, you obviously live in the UK. Be happy that you can actually watch a variety of touring car racing trackside. Do you realise how lucky you are to have the BTCC, DTM and ETCC all racing in the same country this year? It is unbelievable. Lighten up, broaden your perspective, mate.

Is it Edenbridge who entered BMWs in the ETCC production class last year and are meant to be in BTCC production this year?

Yeah i know but I've been wondering for a while and this thread appeared so I thought I might aswell ask in here rather than start a new one just to ask whether it was them who entered in the ETCC with Tom Ferrier or whether that was a different team.
