I think many of the posts on this thread should just read I don't like Lewis Hamilton, so I'm annoyed that he's been honoured.

Compare him with the other British champions who have been rewarded by Her Majesty though. They've all had to work hard for their success, whereas (with no disrespect to Hamilton or his achievements), he's had it all mapped out for him by McLaren and Mercedes. Maybe it should have been left for a few years, until he chalks up some more titles, which will inevitably happen. We all know he is going to become the most successful British F1 driver ever after all.

Why don't we just open one single 'Let's Bash Hamilton for Something (Anything)' thread and then we can leave all the others for genuine sensible discussion instead of comparing him to everyone (anyone) who has ever done (or not done) something (anything) before.......?

Nonsense. So, because he's been in a McLaren all his F1 career, he hasn't worked hard for his success?

There's a reason he went straight into a McLaren, and it's his talent.

It was probably fairly obvious on receiving his first set of wheels (Silvercross 'pram' more than likely) that the 'lad' had talent.
