Team France
A surprise that Nicolas Prost is the race driver for Gauteng. Duval was a little quiet in Taupo, he did not give SUI and IRL much trouble.
Prost was quick in Chengdu before his qualifying off, maybe the team thinks he has what it takes, or maybe he is paying? I remember reading before the start of the season a team statement suggesting he would be driving a race or two at some point. Anyway it will be interesting to see how he goes if he gets a clean run, and it might shake things up in the ten tenths prediction competition! |

I work in a team in A1 that is very "close" to Team France.
For sure Prost is not paying. Hes has been very very quick since the new car is here, and the team thinks that in the long term he has more potential than Duval. This year he topped the first 2 rookies sessions in Chengdu and Sepang, and he was 2nd in Taupo with old tyres while Imperatori was on new. |
