Team Pakistan

The never ending drama about the whereabouts of Team Pakistan continues...

If they have produced a bigger car perhaps they should give it to GBR in case they want to run Justin Wilson...

You've got to save the team - reading the official A1 fanzone, there are so many Pakistani fans on there who are deeply upset with all this uncertainty, so A1 have to bring the team back. Whether investment is actually the problem, who knows, but it would appear that way.

I would keep Adam Khan - he's quicker than Nur Ali, and very very occasionally he can pull off good performances.

Fuuny I though SuperNova were a top team, Even won the series with GER, so you can not use team as excuse forever. Also Performance are a good team> Think it is more down to the drivers not up to the task< especially now the cars are so restricted on setup

Khan was the quicker driver in the Euroseries 3000 this year and went close to the title even having missed the first 3 races!!! Anyway he is now Renault test driver so I don't think Briatore would let him race in A1!

Personally, I'm not convinced that Euroseries 3000 is the best barometer of a driver's ability given the relatively small field that it has achieved recently. However, Khan was unquestionably a competitive proposition within that championship. With regards to Khan's Renault deal, I believe that it will covers displays and demonstrations as opposed to test and development work. As such, there may be an opportunity for Khan to continue to race elsewhere.

yes, but Briatore is GP2 boss which doesn't go along with A1!
What the Euroseries experience can tell us is that he was quicker than Nicolas Prost so we could have expect for him a top 10.

2 top 10 results from 18 starts and finishing 20th.."reasonable strong", WOW.
I am sure he is a much better driver now than last year, after a confidents boosting F3000. I also think that all teams who have run him have been good. Lam you love blamming teams, but there is only so much a team can do with drivers.... DSM have run Germany, NZ, Brazil and Lebanon together and not scored any points with one and winning with the others..Only when they get a driver with good quality competition experience have the looked like scoring. If they only had LEB you would be saying they are crap.

I worked in Euro 300 this year and there were some strange things going on. For me Prost clearly deserves his title, and Onidi was also very quick.

About Khan, I still don't understand why he was 10 kph quicker than everyone in the straight at Mugello. For me, something was wrong!

I think you are mistaken Khan with Leal who was much quicker than anyone else on the straight. Khan speed was 264.0 km/h exacly the same as Prost and Onidi
