Note: For some reason Scott Speed is listed according to NASCAR results as driving #187 (the #87 to you and me), as well as Joe Nemecheck, but different point scores. If someone can explain this to me i would be most grateful. In the meantime I have entered Speed's results against his normal ride, #82 and Nemecheck as the driver of #87 (#187), in case it was just a stuff up by the NASCAR webmasters. If this is incorrect and I am advised otherwise, I will alter the tables accordingly.

Speed failed to qualify in the #82, so Red Bull bought Nemechek's ride after he qualified. So Speed raced in the #87 while Nemechek and the #82 sat in a truck.

If I get the rules right, points to the #87

But Nemechek was scored as finishing 39th in the #87 and awarded 46 Championship points, out on lap 67 with Transmission issues according to the results in the link above, started 39th

Speed out after 189 laps due accident, listed as starting 37th

yeah thats what happened at Sonoma, Speed went too wide on the 2nd last corner of his only quali lap, and therefore didn't qualify, and drove Nemechek's #87 which did qualify
