Sorry that I didn't post sooner, but I had to work a concert last night...

Here are your Quals Results:

Peno, drewdawg, drdisque and OpenWheel had Briscoe on the Pole for 2 pts each

bruce was closest to the Pole speed: Actual-136.935 Bruce-136.404

Peno, Flyin Ryan, bruce and AlwaysFirst had Briscoe for the Fast Lap for 2 pts each

bruce also was closest to the speed and got an additional 2 pt. bonus for picking Briscoe & the lap speed: Actual 137.657 bruce-138.000

In the Top Six OpenWheel had 4 pts, NAC 3 pts, and all others had 5 pts.

BTW...I have to do those by the grid, so Rahal wasn't worth a point, even though he made the Firestone Fast Six.

No one had Carpenter for the Slowest driver

Peno was closest to the Slow Speed: Actual-132.322 Peno-129.500

I did count both Rahal and Danica for the "Just Miss," since rahal did make the Fast Six, so Peno, bruce and NAC got 1 pt. each for Rahal.

Results heading into the race today;

1. bruce - 14 pts.
2. Peno - 10 pts.
3. drewdawg - 7 pts.
(tie) Flyin Ryan - 7 pts.
(tie) drdisque - 7 pts.
(tie) AlwaysFirst - 7 pts.
7. OpenWheel - 6 pts.
8. NAC - 4 pts.

Good Luck Today!!!

drdisque should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Carpenter WAS NOT the slowest driver. Milka Duno was (look at the speeds, not the grid).

I'll recalculate...SORRY....I worked from 8 a.m.-midnight the past 3 nights, so I'm a little tired...

Again, Apologies to all...I'll rescore the quals and post revised results.

With the revised calculations for Duno actually being the slowest qualifier, only the numbers for those who chose her as slowest change...Peno missed the slow speed by .001...the Closest I have ever seen since running this contest.

Revised results and points:

1. Bruce - 16 pts.
2. Peno - 12 pts.
3. Flyin Ryan - 9 pts.
(tie) drdisque - 9 pts.
5. drewdawg - 7 pts.
(tie) AlwaysFirst - 7 pts.
7. OpenWheel - 6 pts.
8. NAC - 4 pts.

Sorry again, gang....

I forgot that the section lineups in road course quals are different than the actual times and I'm more than a little tired today...Duno was in session 1 and the two guys behind her qualified in session 2...

I THINK THAT GRID FORMAT IS STUPID...YOU SHOULDN'T BE HIGHER ON THE GRID THAN SOMEONE WHO IS FASTER THAN YOU...

I'm going to burn some meat on the grille, then I'll score the race results.

No one had Wilson for the win

In the Top Five OpenWheel and Alwaysfirst had 5 pts each, drewdawg and NAC had 3 pts, and all others had 2 pts each

In the Milestones, everybody but NAC and AlwaysFirst scored 2 pts.

Peno, drrewdawg and Flyin Ryan all picked Ryan Hunter-reay as 1st out for 2 pts.

No one had Helio as the "Mover": 13th to 4th

AlwaysFirst had Moraes as the "Fall" 4th to 14th, but Dario would have been scored as well: 5th to 15th Both lost 10 spots...

AlwaysFirst was closest to the Avg. Speed; Actual-111.915 AF-110.274

Final Results:

A tie, which was won on the tiebreaker by peno

1. Peno - 20 pts. (won tiebreaker w/bruce)
2. bruce- 20 pts.

I have an interesting idea I wanted to throw out there...

For the "first car out of race" pick, we get 2 points. Would anyone like to see us get 1 point if the car DNFs, even if it isnt the first car out?

Catching that and posting it in a follow-up saved your bacon, Peno....without that tiebreaking speed, bruce would have won by default.
