What ya'll do to get over the withdrawals?

Since there was no race yesterday, what did everyone do to kill the time? LOL. It felt like a race Sunday to me...I watched the Rockingham race (Matt's win!!!!!!!!!!!) & the Darlington race again. *G*

I worked on my NASCAR Stats webpage, which entails searching the web for (as accurate as possible) career stats on each driver, which can be a daunting task for some of them. For example, I can not find some of the stats on Richard Petty anywhere. I am concentrating on active drivers, but have included Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt for obvious reasons. No list of NASCAR Stats would be complete without them.

I have been looking for total career starts, wins, top 5's, top 10's, poles, winnings, and final place in the WC point standings for each year for 1972 to the present, as well as rather a driver was Rookie Of The Year or not, and how many Winston Cup Championships they have (if any), and any career highlights I can find. If anyone can help me out with stats on a driver not already on my list (or any corrections needed), drop me a PM or Email. I'd appreciate it very much.

Other than that, I played a little bit of NASCAR Racing 3, which of course, is my favorite racing game.

Speedvision have been showing a lot of old Daytona 500's lately. A few days ago they showed the 1997 race wich I promtply recorded on tape. They also showed the 1979 race. But I find the REALLY old races less interesting, I just don't like the way the cars looked back then at all. Although it was amusing to see that fight between the 2 drivers who crashed into each other while leading on the final lap.

What I also really apreceate about this is that fact that they show the races in real time. Nothing annoys me more when they show an old race and turn it into a documentary type of show.

I suppose it can be kind of entertaning in a way. But I just think it's so full of cliches. And I also don't like how it sends the message that it's ok to driver dirty.

I watched the Brazilian GP. Wow, Interlagos, a track with more than 2 corners. You NASCAR boys should try it some time
