What a surprise - Tomb Raider 5 is on the way. Entitled Tomb Raider: Chronicles, it is based around Lara's funeral. Various characters from past games such as Pierre from TR1 and Jean from TR4 reminisce about Lara. This takes the form of flashbacks which you play as Lara - both as the 16 year old and the grown up.
New locations include Ireland and Russia. She can also walk on ropes tightrope-style. Apparently it will surprise many and will pave the way for a radicle change to the TR series, beginning with TR6 on PS2. Ok, so it's another TR. I'm not even 1/2 the way through The Last Revelation, but the series has picked up, and I'm actually quite looking forward to the return of Pierre et al. |
