Here it is, the moment you've all been waiting for - the final results for this year's predictions competition.

Firstly, the scores for the round. Frankly, they were rubbish. Had Hamilton's car not packed in, there would probably have been some pretty good scores, but McLaren fitted Heikki's brakes to his car. Error. Anyway, several people got a highest score of 7, and they were crmalcolm, Dave_G, koper, Mekola, Rafael and ScotsBrutesFan.

And finally...the final standings! With nobody scoring highly in this round, the margin at the top was maintained, which means that the 2009 10 Tenths F1 Predictions Competition winner is craigd.

YEAH! And yes, thank you RG for the effort in running it, allowing me to win the first thing since winning a tea-towel in a raffle competition in primary school!

I only (joint) won one round too I believe - Malaysia. So, like Jenson, I seemed to have just kept good consistency throughout. Also remembering to submit each round helped too!

A warning to others though: I have every intention of back-to-back championships! My ever present attention on F1 news and development always stands me in good stead. Prediction for Bahrain: a Massa win methinks! F1 likes its fairytales!

Do we have a 'F1 Predictions-gate' on our hands? If this error exists, will a full investigation be carried out?

With regards to the table - are the last three lines typos, or have points been deducted for an infringement?

crmalcolm, if you propose the investigation I'll second the motion.

So there you are RG, you are hereby instructed by the Fédération Internationale de Ten Tenths to compile a dossier detailling all events and how each user scored their points at each round. That's 82 users and 17 events, so I expect to see a minimum of 1,394 sections in said dossier.

I can investigate if you want, but my conclusions will be:

1. I've never been very good at maths
2. Craig will still be the winner

I have no idea why the tables do this, but if you sort the table by Total Points rather than by Position, it will put those final three in the right place. I put the entrants in alphabetical order and the table does the ordering by itself - I think I can change how they're sorted but I'll have to have a play about with that in the off-season. For now if you want them in the right order you'll just have to click 'Total Points'!
