race pedal box's
anyone seen/used optimum balance products, PRO-RACE pedal box ? i know the previous stuff OBP made was 'flimsy' to say the least, however, this stuff looks pretty good. i'd be using ALCON master cylinders. The unit is constructed out of Mild Steel with oil impregnated pivots, manufactured the units in the UK. it appeals as the cost is less than TILTON or AP. just be interested to know of anyone who has used them or have seen them in use.

The fact that they compare themselves with tilton or AP makes them... ehhrrmmm... lets say not so serious.
A racing product must perform well, thats the better publicity. Let the talking for the politicians However it worths a try... you can brake 3 of those for the same cost as an AP pedal box... Now I have instaled "home made" pedals that are reliable but a bit heavier than 2.6Kg and with a regulations that sucks. I am looking for a pedal box with pedal ratio regulation for the brake. That would be the distance between the pivot mounting and the pump axis, right? That would be useful for a car that must be driven by two different drivers, one with less force in the foot but more sensitivity than the other. |
