Kart track in North England for 6-year-old
Hi
This is my first post on here, so please excuse my ignorance! I have a (currently) 5-year-old who has been driving a 50cc petrol quad since he was 2, is obsessed by all motorsports (probably doesn't help having a rally driver for a dad to be fair), and has now started a scrap book with pictures of karts as he wants one for his birthday. We really can't afford to give him all the advantages the kids who get into karting need, but we'd like to let him at least have a play at it. (my hubby raced karts for a while about 13 years ago before getting into rallying, and is a race engineer and has built all his rally cars, so has a reasonable idea, but just doesn't have the time, or, as I say, the money, to throw at it) Question - is there anywhere is the North of England running anything along the lines of the Bambino karting academies like Brentwood or Buckmore? We'd like to give him a go at it, but we don't want to start committing lots of money before he does, and also there's very little point if he can't do it fairly regularly. Thanks in advance for your advice |

I don't know how 'North' you are looking, but if the East Midlands is north-enough you will get links to kart clubs there from -
