Oulton Park - Your Predictions Please
We've all had the chance now to see what sort of form most of the cars were producing at Brands, so now lets add the Atomic Kitten MGs into the equation and start to think about Oulton Park next weekend. Anyone care to make any predictions?

The top six in the Touring Class:
Sprint 1. Muller 2. Thompson 3. Reid 4. Harvey 5. Eaves 6. Chilton Feature: 1. Thompson 2. Hughes 3. Reid 4. Muller 5. O'neill 6. Neal Can't see the Atomic Kitten cars beating off the established indendent teams this early in the season - give them a couple of races and I think they will become the fastest of the indies. As for Production, three straight panels left at the end of the Sprint race, even less after the feature! As for a winner, don't know, but they will be great to watch! |

We won't see the much promised TMSR Lexus. IMO.

Chilton may not be there due to the license debate so I say O'Neill in 6th for the Sprint

There will be more action in the Clios and Legends than in the feature races.
For those of you who are going to Oulton there are some races on Saturday afternoon starting at approximately 15.45. |

No TAK in top 6?
I will be surprised if neither of us make the top 6 in either race. I agree with Andy F though, by the time we get to Silverstone we expect to be well on the pace.
Our target for this season is the independants cup, so we have a few points to make up on the others. Our aim this weekend is to score Indie points in both races for the team. Don't forget to look out for the AK girls on Sunday! |

The AK girls, if I could only get Oulton on Sunday, but I will sat here work on the old final year project (missing out on Pit lane passes for F1 testing at Silverstone today for the same reason), but listening on Radio Toca.

Gareth, welcome back, but answer me truthfully-How can you concentrate on driving considering your team owners?
Good luck for Sunday. I reckon the MG support will help, considering Hughes was using the car at Brands (i think) you guys should be right up there. Plus if you stay clear of everyone and everything at the start who knows? debut win? Last edited by Sherman; 17 Apr 2002 at 16:04. |

I'm not allowed to predict a finish as that just brings people bad luck. You all know who I support anyway!
I hope that everyone gets around safely |

So Gareth, I bet your glad that the Kittens aren't involved in the actual running of the team. I know if they were and it was me I'd be so distracted by looking elsewhere that they could have said 'drive backwards round until you hit the leader' and I wouldn't react!

We tested this afternoon at Pembrey and I have to say the car felt great, much, much better than the version we tested earlier in the year. We are both feeling really confident for the weekend and can't wait for qualifying.
(Luckily the girls aren't there on Saturday so no distractions) |
