RUSHY44 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
MGCC Brands April 11th

Can I be the first to say thank you (in advanace) to the marshalls that will be at Brands this weekend.

Hopefully the weather stays as nice as it has been today.

If any of you fancy a brew then call past garage 32.

Thanks in advance.

On behalf of all at the MGCC, John Watson (in absentia), Mildred and myself, a big thank you to all the marshals at Brands Hatch over the weekend. Good sunny weather (although a tad cold), a very full programme with good grids and good racing. Plenty of excitement (perhaps a tad too much on Sunday); very good incident response throughout the weekend. Despite all Sunday's problems, the programme (with some amendments and shortened races) was completed just before the curfew.

The next MGCC meeting is at Oulton Park on Saturday 08 May. If you have not already volunteered, contact John Watson
<johnwatson07@btinternet.com>.

Finally, a special big thanks again to the MGCC for the way they look after all us marshals, a fiver each day for all and flask and hat for each marshal who supported them during the 2009 season.

Peter Scillitoe
Chief Marshal (for last weekend only).

Hmmm, yes that was a bit more adrenaline that I would have liked down on post 8 on Sunday but all round an excellent weekend. A bit of a steep learning curve too but I'm told I did okay. I'm hoping to hear the driver of #16 is going to be fine?
It was pretty chilly on post 8 too, we competed on how may layers of clothing we could wear at once, whilst 4a told me they were melting in the heat as they were sheltered from the breeze by the bank.

Thanks

Ill just add my 2 pence worth too, I thought I was going to give Post 4 something to do when rubber band wound down on Saturday (under SC as well). But rolling it down hill to the infield hard standing fixed it !

I suspect it was Nigel's ghost playing tricks like he always did.

Thanks all, back on the other side of the action in 2 weeks

Just wanna thank all at Druids for a very entertaining weekend, be in on track, on post or in gravel! Sunday was "Just One of Those Days" I supose. We were a bit short of bodies but more than made up for with ability.
I must say I was really impressed with the MX5 mob. 6 really close races and (almost) no contact! Made my job easy. As for the MGs....hmm!
Shame I can't get to Oulton in 2 weeks. Small matter of 750MC at Brands...
